Is confirmed the reproduction of at least 3 females in the area of reintroduction of Guarrizas river valley in Jaén

Professionals of the LIFE+Iberlince project had confirmed the birth of 2 new creates in the reintroduction area of Guarrizas, close to the city of Vilches due to the Photographic trapping technique.
Although the program of Photographic trapping is still at an early stage, are now six the number of calves detected so far, with these new specimens. The program will take place between June and December, with the purpose of conducting a population census of the species. Preliminary data indicates that there are at least three females that have been reproduced litters having at least two calves each.
The data obtained so far are the result of the routine work done by the field teams and the collaboration of the local population.
The first two litters detected, although it was aware of them, were photographed for the first time by a guard of a property that currently has a collaboration agreement with the project and hunters associations, who also collaborate with the project for about 5 years.
