LIFE+Iberlince project technicians presented lynx to Linares San Joaquín and San Agustín College holiday camps. Children, who has finished school and start summer holiday, welcomed with enthusiasm and curiosity this closest friend visit, given their knowledge about these endangered species and its favorite prey, the rabbit. All morning, technicians taught them how to know lynx location, showing them the functioning of the equipment used for radio tracking and photographic trapping technique, with which specimens are photographed. Furthermore, lack of prey, such as rabbit, traps and roads, are some of the factors which jeopardize lynx existence.

These activities are directed to Linares schools and will continue on June 26 and 27th, in ACEL, La Presentación and Sagrada Família College holiday camps.
