Nacional Pact for Iberian Lynx Conservation in Portugal

Lisbon, July 1st, 2014

Was sign today in Lisbon, in a public ceremony presided by the Secretary of State for Territorial Planning and Nature Conservation, the Nacional Pact for Iberian Lynx Conservation in Portugal.

The pact was agreed at the executive committee board for the Iberian Lynx Conservation in Portugal, established by ICNF, academy members , hunting and agricultural sector organizations, environmental NGO’s and other key stakeholders, where participates Iberlinx Association, partner on LIFE+Lince Program.

Its signature marked an important new stage for the Iberian Lynx conservation process in Portugal, pooling around this species the will and capacity of the various involved organizations.

The pact may be underwritten on-line by all persons and entities who wish to.
