22/09/2017 - Life+IBERLINCE present at the 2nd Abenójar Hunting Days (Ciudad Real)

On September 22nd, Abenójar will host awareness activities pertaining to the Iberian lynx, within the 2nd Hunting Days event, held in this municipality of Ciudad Real to discuss the importance of the existence of diverse fauna in our natural spaces.

For our part, the Life+IBERLINCE Project will partake in these awareness activities by showing the "Lynx Territories" exhibition, through games and recreational workshops with which we will inform children about the current situation of the Iberian lynx, its needs, the threats it faces on a daily basis, as well as actions currently being carried out by the project to protect the species in the Castilla-La Mancha reintroduction areas. Finally, through a chat/colloquium, we will host a discussion with the hunting sector, where we will analyse collaborative aspects between the various conservationist sectors, and other necessary hunting management practices in Mediterranean ecosystems. A talk lead by FomeCam specialists and named: "Iberian Lynx, the hunter’s ally".
