Students of the University of Lancaster learn about the Life+Iberlince Project

Thirty students of Ecology and Conservation of the British university visited the project and get in touch first-hand with the its results

The Life+Iberlince project is getting the last four springs visiting students Ecology and Conservation at the University of Lancaster (UK). Taking advantage of a camp held in Doñana to study the biodiversity of Mediterranean ecosystems, students know the projects developed Iberian lynx conservation in the last 15 years.

The visit this year has consisted of a lecture and a field trip. In the talk they have released the methodologies used for the conservation of the species and the results obtained since the first programs of conservation of the species in Andalusia implemented. In the field trip may have known some of the actions undertaken in the area of Doñana-Aljarafe and monitoring methodologies that allows evaluating the results thereof.

Once again the experience has been very satisfactory for both sides, and we look forward to receiving the next group in the following spring.
