Six specimens of Iberian Lynx that were released in Extremadura, continue to adapt to Matachel Valley
2014-11-19
The six spécimens of Iberian Lynx that were released in Extremadura, are well adapted to the reintroduction area of Matachel Valley.
They all have a necklace that allows the tracking by GPS, being monitorized by the LIFE+Iberlince technicians.
The fact that these specimens not leave the areas where they are, confirms the suitability of the habitat of the Valley Matachel and proves that its conditions, are more than adequate for the reintroduction area and the future breeding center of Iberian lynx.
