Students from E.B. 2.3 S. Sebastião of Mértola visited Herdade das Romeiras under the Life+Iberlince Project

The IBERLINX Association and ADPM, in collaboration with the ICNF, held an event to publicize the Life+Iberlince Project on 22 April at Herdade das Romeiras (Mértola).

The activity was the presentation of the project by viewing the film "The Return of the Lynx" and a field trip. Different subjects were discussed regarding the reintroduction of the Iberian lynx, improving habitat, wild rabbit census, habitat defragmentation and monitoring of lynx. In the field visit had the opportunity to see some of the actions developed: the surrounded reintroduction of lynx, wild rabbit census and monitoring of lynx released in the Guadiana Valley Natural Park.
