Iberlince presente in the I Environment Week of Orgaz (Toledo)

By the occasion of the celebration of World Environment Day on 5 June 2016, the municipality of Orgaz, from the Department of Environment has organized a series of activities aimed at different types and all public to contribute with their bit sand and try to improve our environment.

Within these activities, on Saturday June 4 technicians from the Life+Iberlince Project have made a talk on the Iberian lynx and the objectives of the reintroduction program in Castilla La Mancha.

During the meeting, the issues presented by the species, both the present and the reasons that led to its extinction in castellanomanchegas land. Also, participants of the project in the region and the importance of the region for the recovery of a single species such as the Iberian lynx were reported.

The attendees showed great interest in the speedy recovery of the species in the region and congratulated the project team Iberlince the good news about the birth of puppies in recent weeks.
