New meeting with owners and hunting managers in La Haba (Badajoz)

On Thursday July 7, 2016 there was a new informative meeting about the Life+IBERLINCE Project, this time in the cozy village of Haba.

The residents of this beautiful town sued for weeks a meeting with members of the Life+IBERLINCE Project in Extremadura, since Llerena, one of the females reintroduced into the Matachel, moved nine months ago to close to La Haba areas, and owners and land managers were very interested in learning about the possible implications of their presence in the area.

Contacted with the mayor of La Haba, this gave us from the first moment its maximum support to host this event and appropriately publicize the day so properly contest all questions that could sue their neighbours.

They were summoned to act, owners, hunting managers, mayors and technicians nearby municipalities. At the meeting experts from the Directorate General of Environment of the Ministry of Environment and Rural Agrarian Policy and Planning, experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, technicians CBD-Habitat Foundation and members of the company AGROFOREX (partners participated of the project).

After a brief presentation on the project and actions, we proceeded to address the concerns that had some of the attendees, and in a relaxed and close atmosphere, technicians resolved their doubts.

Note the good reception that had both the presentations and the presence of technicians from different administrations and organizations in this meeting.
