Autumn and the Iberian Lynx in the CEIP "Santiago Apostle" of Almuradiel (Ciudad Real)

On November 18, the technicians of the Life+IBERLINCE Project, along with the Environmental Agents of the area, on the initiative of the AMPA of the C.E.I.P. Santiago Apostle of Almuradiel (Ciudad Real), developed the activity "The Iberian Lynx in Autumn", carried out within the Campaign of Disclosure in the area of reintroduction, expansion and connection of populations of the Iberian Lynx that takes place in centers Educational institutions of lynx areas, in order to bring value to the species and bring to the population the different actions that are carried out for the settlement and maintenance of the specimens established in the Sierra Morena Oriental and Montes de Toledo areas.

To emphasize first the involvement of the center in this type of activities that undoubtedly break with the dynamics of the curricular project; And second, but not least, to highlight the behavior of all the participants, some forty boys and girls of children and primary that already know the Lynx, who demonstrate to know many details of their situation of vulnerability, their behavior and Needs, so it is noteworthy that there is a collective awareness of the special care that the habitat where the Iberian Lynx develops and establishes, and we emphasize the importance of the involvement of all people: authorities, environmental agents, researchers, Technicians, owners, hunters, drivers and in general, the whole citizenship because we all have an important role in acting with the Life+IBERLINCE project. The conservation of the Iberian lynx is a matter for everyone.
