The Extremeñas roads already have signs that warn drivers to the presence of the Iberian Lynx

In January 2015 were placed the first traffic signs on the road of Extremadura to warn the drivers that is required to move carefully, in particular road EX-103, which is located near the lynx reintroduction zone. The speed was limited to 50km / h on the bridge over the river Matachel and 70km / h in the remaining areas.

In addition to the speed limit signs, rumble strips were placed in various places, and danger signs with Lynx image.

As a complementary measure, in the area of the passage on the river Matachel, is proceeding to the installation of a selective network, routing, to promote the passage of wildlife under the road.
