Would you like to name one of the lynxes that will be released in Andalusia in 2017? In the Life+IBERLINCE Project we give you this possibility because we want you to participate, so that the conservation of the Iberian lynx continues being a success we need your support.

As you know, this year a total of 40 copies will be released in the different release areas, some of which still have no name. We would like you, through Twitter and our website, to propose the name that you like to one of the eight new lynxes that will populate the lynx areas of Guarrizas (Jaén) and Guadalmellato (Córdoba). Jupiter, Jabugo, Huerto, Gitanilla, Castañuela... have been some of the names with which in previous editions the liberated individuals have been baptized.

To the question of how you can do it we answer to you next. Well through Twitter, using the hashtag (#BautizaUnLince) with a mention to @Iberlinceeu, or on our website (sending your proposals to the email oficina@iberlince.eu indicating in the subject BautizaUnLince). All your proposals of names will be collected and among them we will select the most original. At the time of proposing the name you must take into note two important aspects: the name must begin with the letter N (since all lynx born in 2016 have names with that letter) and you must look for originality by discarding proper names of person to start By N.
