The FAC condemns the death of a lynx in a game reserve of Jimena (Jaén)

The Andalusian Federation of Hunting (FAC) wants to express publicly its most outright condemnation of the death of an Iberian Lynx in a hunting reserve of Jimena (Jaén) that was caught in a snare (news: www.iberlince.eu).

The FAC wants to record the firm rejection of the Andalusian federated hunters towards this type of criminal behavior. "In no case, can those responsible for this crime identify themselves as hunters, but simply as malicious criminals," said the president of the Federation, José María Mancheño.

Not in vain, the Federation Andaluza de Caza wants to inform publicly that it will appear as an accusation in the criminal proceedings that are instituted before this deplorable fact.

The FAC also recalls that federated hunters and hunting societies actively collaborate in the conservation of the Iberian Lynx as part of the Life+IBERLINCE project.
