Nebraska, the name chosen by our followers for one of the lynxes that will be released in Andalusia

We were looking for an original name for one of the Iberian lynx females that will be released this year in Andalusia and we already have: Nebraska. A name chosen among the proposals made by our followers on Twitter and on our website, through the initiative #BautizaUnLince.

Many have been the proposals received to baptize this female, daughter of Fruit and Jabugo, some of them very original as Ninimma, Nagual, Numen, Neit, Nia, Nadine, Nature, Nita, Niebla...so we would like to thank All participants their collaboration.

Nebraska, from the breeding center of Silves (Portugal) will be released in the area of reintroduction of Guarrizas (Jaén), next to Nambroca (daughter of Fábula and Juncabalejo), Snow (which has been baptized by the school children of La Carolina) , From the Olivilla breeding center in Jaén and from the male Nacar (son of Fárfara and Helio) from the breeding center of Granadilla.
