The students of La Carolina baptize with the name of Snow another of the female lynxes that will be released this year in Guarrizas

The students of 5th grade CEIP Palacios Rubio de La Carolina (Jaén) christened the female lynx, daughter of Cynaray de Jupiter, and from the Olivilla breeding center, who will be released this year in the reintroduction area of Guarrizas.

Each of the participating students proposed a name for this Iberian lynx and by chance Nieve was chosen, a proposal that liked most students, who met last week in the auditorium of the educational center with staff Of the Life+IBERLINCE project.

With initiatives like this one is intended to involve the public, in this case the school children, in this project of conservation and reintroduction of the feline.
