Children of Almodôvar dedicate Carnival to the conservation of the Iberian lynx

The pre-school and elementary school students of the Almodôvar School Group have elected the conservation of the Iberian lynx as the main theme for the Carnival parade of 2017.

After the awareness work carried out in the 1st period of this school year, with the IBERLINX Association team at the service of the Life+IBERLINCE project, teachers and students decided to focus the Carnival parade on the theme of the Iberian lynx. The schools prepared masks alluding to the prevention of run-offs, the wild rabbit and, of course, the Iberian lynx, preferred by the majority. Accompanied by some posters, the students strolled and joked around the streets of Almodôvar, giving the population the message of alert for the importance of preserving the species and its habitat - "With the collaboration of all, the reintroduction of the Iberian lynx is going to be a success! "
