Iberlince with the future Environmental Monitors of Toledo
2017-03-07
The training and dissemination activities on the Iberian lynx and the Life+IBERLINCE project continue.
On this occasion, FomeCam technicians have moved to the city of Toledo to give a talk to the students of a certificate of Professionalism "Interpretation and Environmental Education - FPTD / 2016/045/046", addressed primarily to unemployed workers (Mode II) recipients of the National System of Youth Guarantee.
The course is taught by FECMES, an institution approved by the Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment and is co-financed by the European Social Fund.
During this activity the students have shown great interest in the development of the project, emphasizing how the structure of the dissemination and awareness-raising part of the project is structured.
The Iberian lynx as a resource for environmental education becomes a very powerful tool to raise awareness of the need to conserve the planet's biodiversity. The protection of this feline, allows the maintenance of its habitat, which in turn welcomes a multitude of other species of equal importance to maintain the balance of ecosystems.
From Life+IBERLINCE we would like to thank this opportunity to show our appreciation to FECMES and especially to the course director, Julio Sánchez, for his help and interest in the Life+ project, as well as his great willingness to collaborate in spreading the benefits of recovering a species Key to the Mediterranean mountain, as is the Iberian lynx.
