First signs of reproduction in the field

A little more than two months after the copulations, which occurred in the coldest months of the year, the female lynx are already in the safe encames selected as paridera for this season. At this time, the human teams of tracking the species begin to detect the first breeding events, which, in addition to the intrinsic importance of the fact in itself for the species, pay extra in the form of joy for them.

In the region of Doñana, after the abundant rains of the last months, the spring promises to be especially spectacular; This is already shown by the humid areas overflowing with life. In the forest masses, where the temporary lagoons enrich the landscape, the first layers of lynx have already been confirmed.
