Success of participation in theatrical performance and outreach activities organized in Andújar around the Iberian lynx

The children's play 'Mírame de Lejos', by the EDAE company, was the axis of an intense program with various workshops for the whole family
A new success of participation reached on Sunday in Andújar (Jaén) the theatrical performance “Mírame de Lejos” by the company EDAE, and the parallel activities around the Iberian lynx organized by the project Life+Iberlince for “Recovery of the distribution Historic Iberian lynx in Spain and Portugal” with the aim of putting the value of the conservation of this feline.
In the various programmed activities, which started at ten in the morning and until two in the afternoon, children and elders participated, being able to enjoy the workshops with the family, while knowing basic aspects of the biology and ecology of the Iberian lynx, As well as other curiosities of the species.
Throughout the morning, more than 600 children, accompanied by their families, were able to participate in the creation of bobcat masks, the production of bobcat plaques, the game of the giant goose, Music to the event, with a percussion workshop ... Activities that not only had fun, but also transmitted messages related to the conservation of the Iberian lynx.
During the day, the attendees could also enjoy a storyteller with stories of lynx and participate in a workshop of road education 'Care with the lynx', in which the monitors will give them some fundamental guidelines to follow when driving through a Territory with presence of Iberian lynx.
Attendees could also be photographed near an Iberian lynx thanks to a virtual scenario that Iberlince installed in the Plaza de España de Andújar, and whose images can and can be downloaded on the project's Facebook page (@iberlinceEU), where they can also See all the images taken in the 'photocall' of the conference.
After an intense morning, in which they approached the Iberian lynx, the participants enjoyed in the Main Theater of Andújar of the children's theatrical play 'Mírame de Lejos', of the company EDAE. Directed by María Alcántara Manzanares, the work, through humor, songs and dance, shows the history of a young Iberian lynx family and disseminates their reality and the values that support their conservation.
