The Iberlince project carried out an awareness-raising campaign with the motto 'Iberian lynx, the hunter’s ally' at the Intercaza Fair in Córdoba

The Life+Iberlince project 'Recovery of the historical distribution of the Iberian lynx in Spain and Portugal' was present at the Tourism, Active Leisure and Environment International Fair Intercaza 2017, which was held from September 28th to October 1st at the Palacio de la Merced in Cordoba, with the “Lynx Territories” exhibition.

With the informative activities carried out at the twentieth edition of the Intercaza Fair, the Life+Iberlince project aims to raise awareness among members of the various groups in the Cordoba province linked to the hunting (fishermen, hunters, and taxidermy, saddlery, armoury professionals, etc.), active leisure and environment industries on the importance and the necessity for social participation in the recovery of threatened species.

Iberlince insisted on the need to respect the Iberian lynx, by practicing responsible hunting and opting for correct hunting management.
