The Life+Iberlince Health Monitoring Program is awarded by the Veterinary College of Malaga

Awarding the 'V de oro' (Golden V) recognizes successes garnered in the health monitoring of lynxes reintroduced in the Andalusian region.

The Health Monitoring Program of the Life+Iberlince project 'Recovery of the historical distribution of the Iberian lynx in Spain and Portugal' was awarded the 'Golden V', the highest recognition granted by the Professional Association of Veterinarians in Malaga.

With this distinction, the College Governing Council recognizes the successes achieved in disease monitoring and health surveillance of Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus) populations reintroduced in recent years in the Andalusian region.

The Life+Iberlince team will receive this award on 7th at the Real Club Mediterráneo, coinciding with veterinarian patron day celebrations.
