EDIA celebrates 12 Collaboration Agreements with landowners in the Barrancos and Moura Municipalities

EDIA, Empresa de Desenvolvimento e Infraestruturas de Alqueva, S.A., under the Life+IBERLINCE Project, celebrated 12 Collaboration Agreements with landowners in the towns of Barrancos and Moura.

These agreements facilitate the promotion of habitat improvement initiatives in an influence area of about 3,200 ha. Thus, various actions will be carried out, such as the installation of crops for the fauna, the improvement of pastures, and tree clearance over a significant area in which the project has investing.

The aforementioned agreements demonstrate the owners’ and the general population’s acceptance of the Iberian lynx’s reintroduction project in the region.
