The regional government of Castilla-La Mancha highlights the success of the LIFE+Iberlince program development in the region with "spectacular" figures

The Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Development, Francisco Martínez Arroyo, declared that the LIFE+Iberlince project, in which the regional government participates and which has been extended until mid-2018, yields "spectacular" figures, illustrating the success of public-private cooperation in the reintroduction of this species in Castilla-La Mancha.

Martinez Arroyo then highlighted the two litters generated in 2016 and 2017, a total of 49 new cubs, of which 30 were born this past year. A favourable assessment he made with Rodrigo Julián Fuentes and Juan Francisco Ruiz from FOMECAM, the company responsible for the development of the Iberlince Program in Castilla-La Mancha, in collaboration with the Regional Council...
