The Life+IBERLINCE Project visited the Barrancos Schools Grouping

On November 17th, 2017, the IBERLINX Association visited Barrancos to introduce primary education students of the Barrancos Schools Grouping to the Life+IBERLINCE project.

The awareness campaign consisted of a presentation about the species and its habitat, threats, reintroductions in Portugal (2015-2017), lynx dispersion and monitoring, and ongoing habitat improvement actions. Students also had the opportunity to learn about the day-to-day life of a lynx with a preview of the movie “Um ano com o lince Mel” (A Year with the Mel, the Lynx).
