Seminars about the Life+Iberlince project at the Université de Montréal

Last Wednesday and Thursday, November 23rd and 24th respectively, Life+Iberlince project specialists took part in two seminars regarding the project in the Canadian city of Montreal. The first was conducted at the veterinary school of the Université de Montréal in Saint-Hyacinthe, and the second at the Granby Zoo facilities.

The seminars dealt with Iberian lynx conservation actions within the framework of the current Life+Iberlince project as well as previous Life projects for Iberian lynx conservation. A special reference was made to the health monitoring program carried out in the Andalusian population since the beginning of the project.

Turnout was high and attendees showed great interest in the expositions.

The Iberlince project received support from Canadian professional colleagues.
