Lynx run over on the EX-346 in Badajoz

Friday afternoon, March 16th, specialists assigned to the Life+IBERLINCE project found the corpse of a young Iberian lynx at kilometre 19.5 of the EX-346 road from La Haba to Quintana de la Serena (Badajoz).

It was a female released in 2018.

The corpse has been transferred to the 'Los Hornos'Wildlife Recovery Centre in Sierra de Fuentes, of the Directorate General for the Environment, to perform the respective necropsy.
