Life+IBERLINCE’s project present at CINEGÉTICA 2015

The Life+IBERLINCE’s project has been present in the last edition of CINEGÉTICA that took place from 19th to 22nd march at IFEMA, Madrid.

This fair is a reference to the hunting sector, not only in Spain, but also internationally, since Spain is one of the most visited destinies to the practice of hunting in its several types.

During the conference, on Friday, there was a discussion about the Iberian-lynx’s situation. There, in that journey, the project Life+IBERLINCE has been represented by its director Miguel Angel Simón, the Fundação Amigos da Águia Imperial, Lince Ibérico e Espaços Naturais Privados, for the conservation’s sector WWF-Adena and the hunting’s sector: APROCA.

Besides that, in the assistance, there has been present some business partners of Life+IBERLINCE’s project, from Castilla La Mancha. In the same way, different social sectors involved in the Iberian-lynx’s conservation, as owners, representatives of different administrations (both autonomous and state), endangered species conservation’s technicians, hunting grounds’ managers, speakers, environmentalists, hunters, etc.

The round table’s presentation was driven by the referred institution, in which partners counts with private land’s owners that has got as a main aim the biodiversity’s quality, turning it compatible with natural resources’ use and performance.

The attendance to the event was unexpected, crowding the local capacity where the event took place. There have been exposed different points of view related to the Iberian-lynx’s conservation and recuperation. It was a good way to clarify the hunter’s sector and private land owner’s position in what concerns to the Life+INTERLINCE’s project.
