The actions of information and divulgation of the reintroduction project are keys to achieve the maximum social support and participation by the inhabitants of the reintroduction aras, as well as the public in general.
Inside these actions and as a complement to them, the itinerant exhibition “Territórios de Lince” aims to show every little point around lynx pardinus (the Iberian lynx) and the project Life+Iberlince. This exhibition shows its aims in a visual and creative way.
In Castilla La Mancha there are two reintroduction areas where dissemination actions usually take place, one in Sierra Morena Oriental in Ciudad Real and another at Montes de Toledo. The exhibition started its path in Madridejos (Toledo) which is too committed to its natural environment’s preservation and to the historic presence of the Iberian-lynx. The stop after was Castellar de Santiago (Ciudad Real) where there was freed a strong part of the reintroduced lynxes at the south of the community.
Later, “Territorios de Lince” was transferred to Montes de Toledo, visiting the localities of Cuerva, Pulgar and Mazarambroz, being this one the last stop of the exhibition about the historic recovery of the lynx’s distribuction in Spain and Portugal.
In every town it passes by, the exhibition is being very well received and it is seen as an information point of the project.
In the following weeks, “Territorios de Lince” will be at Menasalbas, Las Ventas con Peña Aguilera, Torre de Juan Abad, San Pablo de los Montes and Santa Cruz de Mudela.
From Iberlince, we want to thank all the municipal institution’s collaboration which shelter the exhibition and all the people and collectives who have been showing their support and interest for the project Life+Iberlince.
