Lynx cub redeemed from a well in Montoro (Córdoba)

On the last Thursday, the technician of Life+Iberlince project responsible for work monitoring in the town of Cardena found, while checking photo-trapping cameras, a puppy Iberian-lynx aged about 4 months trapped at the bottom of a well dry in the municipality of Montoro.

Several technicians went to the place and within an hour got it out of the well by a climbing team that was carrying a component of the monitoring team.

They performed the medical evaluation, in which it was observed that the puppy was thin and heavily dehydrated, and was applied supportive therapy. Then it was transferred to the La Olivilla breeding center where it remained under observation and quarantine.

Fortunately, the puppy is doing well and is expected to recover soon.
