Iberlince was on Ibercaza 2014, Jaén’s Hunting and Fishing Fair

Between days 19 and 21 of September, at Jaén Fairs and congresses enclosure, took place the 8th edition of “Ibercaza”, which has counted with more than 90 related companies. On Jaén region, exists about 900 hunting grounds, 200 of which engaged in big game hunting. Cynegetic sector and all of the related companies, create in the region all most 200 million Euros by season. Integrated on the stand of Environmental and Territorial Planning Minister, all participants were informed about LIFE+Iberlince project and their goals. Contribute to hunting recovery, preserving Iberian Lynx, is an idea that have been discussed since a long time by hunters and hunting grounds managers. Iberian Lynx is the most efficient and profitable predators’ controller in the Mediterranean forest. Hunting associations support, reflected on the collaboration agreements with LIFE+Iberlince project, has allowed the realization, on the grounds managed by these entities, important measures for the Iberian Lynx survival.
