Junta de Andalucía will implement a management plan for the wild rabbit to strengthen the Iberian lynx populations

The Minister of Environment and Planning, José Fiscal, announced in the Andalusian Parliament that his department will implement a Management Plan Wild Rabbit in Andalusia to strengthen the Iberian lynx populations. This is also intended to meet the evolution of new disease that is affecting rabbit populations, the main food source of this cat. To the Minister something like this should be established throughout the Spanish territory and thus to help ensure the recovery of the historical range of the lynx, a request that has already been moved several times to Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment "no initiative this has picked up the baton."
