Life+Nature Iberlince in the Zoo of Madrid

On the last Saturday, January 16, the director of the Project Life+Iberlince, Angel M. Simon, participated in the monographic course named "Operation, maintenance and conservation of large carnivores" organized by the Zoo of Madrid, which was held between the 16th and 17th of January and that was aimed not only at university students (Biology, Veterinary, Environmental Science, Psychology ...) but also to general public.

The intervention, which was titled "Conservation of the Iberian Lynx: from"critically endangered" to "endangered", verse on the work done by the LIFE Nature conservation of the Iberian lynx and the results obtained, and as after 13 years of great conservation efforts, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (UICN) has reclassified the Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus) of "critically endangered" to "endangered", once evaluated the 77,340 species in Red List that makes this organization.
