New release in Guadalmellato (Córdoba)

Today, February 16, 2016, we proceeded to the release of the second example of the Iberian lynx in the area of Guadalmellato and Navallanas.

The copy, which comes from the National Center for Reproduction of the Iberian lynx of Silves (Portugal), has been released by the owners in the area known as "El Cotillo". The farms that make up this reserve, are collaborating from the beginning with the project to reintroduce the species in the area.

"Maravillas" - how the female has been identified - refers to one of the many place names in the area, the "Cerro de las Maravillas", an ancient and historic place well known by the locals of the area by high densities of rabbits there were reached.
