Female found dead in Almuradiel (Ciudad Real)

Today, March 17, early in the morning, environmental agents of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Development, in the municipality of Almuradiel (Ciudad Real), found the body of an Iberian lynx.

This is about a radiolabelled female released in Sierra Morena, on the last February.

The copy has died by unknown causes a few kilometres from the releasement area.

It has been forwarded to the Wildlife Recovery Center of Chaparrillo to perform necropsy, which will clarify the reasons of death.
