Coordinating Beneficiary: 

Regional Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning. Committee of Andalucía. 

The beneficiary is the maximum coordinator responsible for the execution of all the performances of the Life+IBERLINCE project. Its primary objective is to select two areas of reintroduction in the Andalucía’s territory and create a new core of reintroduction of the Iberian lynx.

 

Associated Beneficiaries:

 

Institute of Nature and Forest conservation (ICNF):

Its main objective is to select two potential areas for reintroduction of the Iberian lynx and create a nucleus of population in Portugal.

 

Autonomous organism of National Parks (OAPN) (MAGRAMA):

It puts at the disposal of the Life+IBERLINCE Project some of its National Parks (Cabañeros and Monfragüe) and public parks (Quintos de Mora, Las Marismillas) to make improvements for future reintroductions.

 

Department of Environment and Rural. Junta de Extremadura:

Its primary objective is to select two potential areas for the reintroduction of the Iberian lynx and create a population centre in Extremadura.

 

Department of Agriculture. Board of communities of Castilla - La Mancha

Its main objective is to select two potential areas for the reintroduction of the Iberian lynx and to create a nucleus of population in Castilla - La Mancha.

 

Counselling of Presidency, Directorate General for the environment. CARM

Identify and prepare a potential area for the reintroduction of the lynx.

 

Ministry of Building and Housing / Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development / Agency of Environment and Water - Ministry of environment and spatial planning. Junta de Andalucía

Its commitments are focused on small roads and other routes of the Lynx territories.

 

AGROFOREX: Agroforestry Company Extremadura S.L.:

Executes actions for improving the habitat, as well as actions of dissemination and evaluation of results.

 

SECEM: Spanish society for the study and conservation of the mammals.

It is responsible for the publication of a book of ideas for the conservation of the Iberian lynx.

 

CBD Habitat Foundation:

Performs a follow-up of the populations of Iberian lynx and rabbit in addition to improve the habitat within the farms that this foundation is in convention within the scope of the project.

 

IBERLINX: Association for conservation of the Iberian lynx e development of its habitat. Portugal

Actions of dissemination in Portugal.

 

APROCA: Association of rural landowners for the hunting management and conservation of the environment:

Dissemination and awareness-raising actions directed at the hunting sector.

 

ACAJÚ:

Environmental Communication Editing of audio-visual materials for the Project’s dissemination.

 

WWF-Spain:

It realizes a pursuit of the populations of the Iberian lynx and of the rabbit in addition to executing habitat progress inside the farms that this foundation has in agreement, inside the ambience of performance of the project.

 

ADENEX: Association for the Defense of the nature of Extremadura

Actions of dissemination and awareness with different groups in Extremadura.

 

FOMECAM: Building and Environment of Castilla-La Mancha

It runs performances of habitat improvements and participates in the selection of the reintroduction areas of Castilla La Mancha.

 

FAC: Andalucía’s Hunting Federation.

Dissemination and awareness-raising actions to the hunting sector of Andalucía.

 

Spain Ministry of Public Works

Implementation of permeabilization measures of national roads in Spain.

EDIA: Empresa de Desenvolvimento e Infra-estruturas do Alqueva, S.A.

Company responsible for managing the webpage and for the transnational project network. (Internal communication platform to be sued by project beneficiaries).

IP: Infraestruturas de Portugal, SA

Actions on the roads in the reintroduction and dispersion areas of the Iberian lynx in Portugal with the purpose of reducing the risk of pedestrian accidents.

Câmara Municipal de Moura

Municipality responsible for the maintenance and operation of 4 surrounded rabbit creation in Portugal.
