Linares received the Exhibition “Lynx Territory”

The Interpretation Centre of Mineira de Linares, displays the exhibition "Linx Territory ", from 17 to 27 of June. Throughout these two weeks, the LIFE + Iberlinx project in collaboration with the City of Linares, organizes a series of journeys to disseminate information to local sectors involved in organizing the Iberian Lynx.

On June 17, the guests are farmers and livestock producers that belong to the Workshop "Agrarian Comarcal" of Linares, an organization that collaborated in the organization of this conference.
On the morning of June 18, technicians from the LIFE project shared a round table in the Parque de Bombeiros of Linares directed to the local administration. On the same day, at 19:30, will start a journey directed to associations and the general population of Linares in the Casa da Cultura.
To complete this program of promotional actions, from 25 to 27 June, will be held a series of workshops and games with children that participate in different holiday camps of several Educational Centers of Linares.
With these workshops the aim is to promote to the Linares population the Iberian Lynx as a conservation project. Linares is a municipality included in the area of expanding populations of Iberian Lynx in the province of Jaén.
